My story
Hi, I’m Ryan.
Marketing strategist, speaker and founder. Also a pastor’s kid from a small Arkansas town who never stopped building things.

Where it started
A small town and a big curiosity.
I was born in San Diego and grew up in Indianapolis, where my dad served as an assistant pastor. When I was eleven, we moved to Batesville, Arkansas, a town of under 10,000 people, where he became the pastor.
That’s where I fell for technology. At thirteen my uncle showed me Photoshop, and I kept teaching myself through a lot of trial and error until I was designing for our church, family and friends. Through high school I mowed lawns, power-washed houses and took every odd job I could find.
I was also the quiet kid. I went through years of speech therapy to learn to speak clearly. Today I speak on stages for a living.
Learning it the hard way
Every dollar had to prove itself.
In 2017 I launched my own design business. A few years later I took over marketing for a pair of car dealerships, managing every brand’s advertising, traditional and digital.
Next I ran marketing for a national medical supply company as a one-person department: strategy, analytics, budget, ads, website, social, print and events. No big team, no wasted spend. That’s where I learned marketing isn’t an expense. It’s a multiplier.

Today
Building for the people I grew up with.
Now I serve as a fractional CMO for home service companies, and I own a marketing agency that runs it all for owners who want it done for them.
I founded BowNotes for the pastors and teachers who shaped me, and Pinecone for holiday lighting companies. I’ve served in church ministry for more than ten years, and I live in Owasso, just outside Tulsa. Family comes first.
What I believe
Why I do this.
“When purpose and strategy collide, lives change.”
Faith first
My faith shapes how I work: honest numbers, straight answers, and real care for the people on the other side of the deal.
Family always
Family comes before anything else. Every business I help should give its owner more life, not less.
Main Street matters
The trades keep our towns running. Those owners deserve marketing as smart as anyone’s, without the agency runaround.
