My story
I started with a lawnmower.
I could lead with the client wins, the stages or the software. None of it matters much without the why.
I grew up a pastor’s kid in a small Arkansas town, mowing lawns and power-washing houses for cash. I taught myself Photoshop at thirteen. I was also the quiet kid in speech therapy, and today I speak for a living.
Later I ran marketing for car dealerships and a national medical supply company, usually as a one-person department where every dollar had to prove itself. That taught me the thing I still preach: good marketing isn’t an expense. It’s a multiplier.
Now I help the kind of businesses I grew up working for: the plumbers, electricians and lawn crews who keep their towns running. And I build tools for the churches and teachers who shaped me.
